2020 Notes From The Artists Dennis Eavenson And Sharon Eavenson On The Cross Works Collection

For us the Cross is a symbol of our Christian religion. These works are representative of a lifelong study of the cross symbol
and it's association with the mysteries of Jesus as our savior. It has taken various forms since the time of Christ's crucifixion
and resurrection. Many groups, countries, cultures and religions identify with the cross symbol and it is seen on jewelry,
artwork, flags, heraldry and logos. The power of this symbol is evident. These works represent our emotional responses to
this symbol when related to our Christian viewpoints.
