Our new artistic direction involves a cast of seemingly unrelated personal artifacts. Our characters are presented in abstract
expressionistic fields interlaced with pictographic symbols. These characters open a visual dialogue with our audience to
contemplate current human viewpoints concerning social, political, economic, religious, scientific and cultural positions.
In these works we examine human notions about object valuation, global dominance, mass production, species survival and
gender identity. Ideas addressing inclusiveness, preservation, extinction, and evolution emerge from the dynamic visual
relationships between these iconic objects. Internal ideas and emotions are supported by pictographic elements contained
within the backgrounds.
Our still life objects were selected to create visual and mental dialogues that define adversarial and cooperative behaviors
evident in human relationships that determine success. Modern mass produced figures reflect personality types that engage
contemplation from our viewers. The "Reality Queries" address human existence within our multi-leveled world where man
made objects and media sources constantly define and redefine our understanding of reality.
